Dr. Jackson attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University.  He graduated in 1971, and has been employed at the Animal Hospital since 1972.  Dr. Jackson's interest include helping our community and its citizens through being a board member of both the Humane Society of Wilkes and the Wilkes Public Health Dental Clinic. 

     As of 2005, Dr. Jackson has been married 32 years with two daughters.  They have one cat named Frawley who "rules the roost" (at least he thinks so!).  Dr. Jackson is an active participant at church.  He enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and researching postal history of Wilkes County.  Areas of interest in veterinary medicine include pet wellness, surgery, and caring for sick and injured animals.
