If using a fresh tree, change the water every 2 days and do not add chemicals to the water.

Fallen needles and strand tinsel can be be a serious choking hazard to pets.

Tape exposed cords to avoid  chewing or tripping.

Give your pets a place to retreat.  Many guests may be stressful to your pet.  Have a quiet area in your home where they can rest and be away from the excitement of company!

Poinsettias, Amaryllis and Mistletoe are toxic plants to cats and dogs. Keep them out of reach of your plants.

Chocolate is also toxic to pets. Beware of wrapping presents that contain chocolate or stocking stuffers that are chocolate and reachable by your pet.

No bones, please.  Bones splinter off and are a serious choking hazard to pets.
